This piece was set in Uptown, a seemingly non-abrasive community from an outsider.  However, talk to any resident and they will give you stories of hatred and murder.I met with a group to answer the question of why.This mural is part of the solution, meant to be a safe haven.It displays that through proper leadership, healthy family structure and the shedding of egos, Uptown could return to it’s former glory.
